GNU Spice GUI / News: Recent posts

After a development hiatus, I am in the process of preparing the next release of gSpiceUI. Over
the past year or two, significant issues have arisen with the wxWidgets/GTK toolkit. However, with
the latest release of the wxWidgets/GTK toolkit, these problems appear to have been resolved so
development has recommenced.

I have also investigated whether there is still a need for a tool like gSpiceUI. While there are
alternatives (eg. KiCad or Qucs) that offer more integrated solutions, a need still remains in the
context of Lepton-EDA and Ringdove-EDA (since gEDA is no longer maintained), as they do not yet
provide simulation functionality. Additionally, gSpiceUI offers a relatively straight forward GUI
for NG-Spice and GNU-Cap which can be used to evaluate these simulation engines.... read more

I've worked out how to generate news articles and
have enabled a user mailing list. ANY feedback is
very welcome.
