I have selected perhaps 100 patches that I like, and I want to put them into the User area of the GR-55 in my preferred order. I cannot figure out how to do a drag 'n' drop (which I gather is not supported <if this="" is="" ever="" supported,="" i="" recommend="" offering="" the="" option="" to="" insert="" between="" two="" patches,="" rather="" than="" over-writing="" a="" patch="">).</if>
I want to put all of my downloaded (g5l) patches into a folder, sorted by pre-pending "01", "02", etc to the file names, and then have all of the patches inserted into the program and the GR-55 as one operation.
I noticed a reference to Bulk Patch File Loading but do not understand how to create such a file without already having the patches loaded correctly in the first place (once I have the patches in place, creating a Bulk Patch File would serve as a backup). I tried multi-selecting single patch files, but the Bulk Patch File Loading function only operates on one file at a time.
The g5l files are not text files, so appending them in a text editor does not seem possible.
I welcome suggestions
Jon

Hi Jon,
the drag n drop idea sounds good.
The current method is to open and save each patch to the GR-55, or load in a single file which has multiple patches within the file.
I will look into trying to add the drag drop feature.
Cheers
Colin.
