You will need to go into the Mac Security and Privacy settings, allow non-Apple-Store software to be installed, and at the time of running the GR-55FloorBoard installer, allow it to be installed from the same settings page.
Same goes for the GR-55 USB driver from the Roland site, allow permissions for it to be installed.

So... having a similar issue here too. Have a Mac running Ventura 13.6, get an error message stating :
"Safari can’t open the file “GR-55FloorBoard_mac_installer.pkg” because no available application can open it."
Thoughts?

The installer.pkg is usually opened with Mac OS system installer program, it usually requires some user permissions intervention, in the Privacy and Security folder in your Mac there should have been a dialog asking if you want to open the installer package.
Safari does not work with installer packages, it is a Mac operating system function (once permissions are resolved).
Also check in the Security settings that allows for non-AppleStore apps to be downloaded and run.
