xmgrace python interface / News: Recent posts

I have moved the project from its ancient CVS repository to SVN. Rather than preserve a lot of old history, I just started with rev. 1 being the current state of the project. I will post a tarball of the final CVS repository in the file for anyone who wants the historical information.

I have posted the current state of the GracePlot package as release 2.00, since it is a noticeable break from the 1.4.2 release of ancient days. It will still evolve at a significant rate in the CVS, but I think it is in a rational condition now.

The graceplot package is now under active maintenance again. The earlier developer and maintainer, John Kitchin, has moved on to other projects. It has now been taken over by Marcus Mendenhall. I have updated the CVS with a new version, which is about 90% compatible with the old release. However, it has been significantly updated and extended.
