Gptgen v1.0 has been released! This new version brings Linux support, better boot partition handling, improved (though still untested) support for big-endian platforms, better handling of boot partitions, support for non-512-byte sector sizes, support for partition table sizes other than 128 records, and more!

The initial version of gptgen, v0.1, has just been released. Gptgen is a tool that can convert a hard drive with a MSDOS-style MBR partition table to the EFI-style GUID Partition Table partition scheme, keeping all data intact.
