This was discussed during a Thursday meeting.

Add all alleles to term table.

Benefits:

Can associate references directly to alleles.

There was talk of using the full-text searching capability
to generate hits between alleles (and alleles ONLY) and
papers.

Can identify papers with allele information much more
readily.

This would be a great help!

    Comment from Leonore:

Hm- maybe this is something to think about in the rehaul? I.e.
    being able
to make a hit association with something other than a term
    (or maybe that
is too complicated). Either have a 'Reference_PubObject
    (type) table where
this can be stored and exported to tair or allow other ids
    besides term
    ids in the hit table?

Needs further discussion. Fixing this properly seems to
involve fixing the gene/term relationship and making genes
isa term, rather than term isa gene.
