Hi,

An SGD user asked whether she can enter a gene list and get back a graphical display of their chromosomal locations. Basically, what she wants is the results page from a wild-card search, or any other search that returns more than one gene, where the different chromosome locations are graphically shown on a single results page.

For example, searching the SGD Gbrowse (http://db.yeastgenome.org/cgi-bin/gbrowse/scgenome/) with FPR* retrieves a nice graphical display of the locations of FPR1, 2, 3, and 4, but she has lists where a wildcard can't be utilized (eg. ACT1, FPR1, RNA14, etc).

I thought this might be a handy feature for others, so I'm submitting as a feature request.

Cheers,
Kara
