Hi everyone- started using Glmixer a few months back to play pre rendered videos during live music sets.
One thing led to another and the right person saw my work. I now have this really cool offer to do some stuff
on a imax screen! My worry is the aspect ratio options. The aspect ratio of the imax screen is 19:10...My question is...will the "free window size" option accommodate this?
Based on my brief exploration... yes this is possible. It would require you to manually resize til it looks good on the output monitor. This definitely makes it difficult to precreate designs for that setup... (a workaround) To compile a predesigned 19:10 setup I would likely use a grid for my desktop background and view only the output window on it. Make the window displayable size match that grid to the ratio you described... from there you can set up your graphics in GLmixer and circumvent the need for a "ratio" for your output window as the purple outline box in the geometry view will match the size of your output window.
I hope that makes sense and that it is helpful!

Though it would be cool as a feature to give ratio control to two integers... (X:Y)
Thanks for the suggestion. I added a ticket (#107) for this feature request.
