glHack is a fullscreen SDL version of NetHack, with support for both OpenGL and software rendering.

Release 1.2 is a port to NetHack 3.4.3, thanks to James Bentler.

- pressing the TAB key toggles text/tile views.

- Gamma option for controlling brightness.
- Many improvements to the existing tileset.
- Better mouse support (e.g. selecting items in menus).
- Map scrolling using the keyboard (ALT + cursor keys).

glHack 0.9.5 has been released.
Changes include:
- Ported to NetHack 3.4.0.
- Fully functional software renderer.
- Option to horizontally flip monster tiles.
- All fonts are now complete (no missing characters).
- New jumpscroll option.
- Fixed monsters that were drawn black on black in text view.
