#42 Notes

Hi,

I just downloaded GenerationX and imported my Reunion 4
GEDCOM file. It looks like most stuff works, except some
peculiarities with notes:

1) Reunion had three types of notes: regular, medical, and
research. The medical and research ones are in the gedcom
but note as a NOTE, but with different tags (HEAL and HIST)
respectively. I was wondering what the best way is to get
this displayed (without having to go to raw GEDCOM) in
GenerationX

2) The CONT does not seem to be processed. I.e., I have
several notes that are longer than a GEDCOM line, so the 2
CONT exists in the file, but the note that GenerationX shows
is truncated...

3) I accidentally deleted the first note in a list of notes and
could not undo that. When I went back to the notes, no notes
showed at all!

4) In Individual mode, the date of birth is show including the
time. I have not found a way to edit the time in the editor
though (they are all midnight).

I know I am complaining, but I really like the program!

This item will be used to track the first issue mentioned. The notes
compatibility issue. The other stuff will be broken out into their
own items as they are addressed.

About 3) it turns out that I initially was in individual mode, but
after editing the notes I must have done something to end up in
Family mode, so checking the notes showed my family notes (of
which I did not have any). Sorry.
I did notice that after editing the note for a filtered individual after
editing that individual is not the one in the main display anymore
(the INDI records selection box also is reordered to the state
before the filtering).
