Currently (I believe), the view command uses the local
editor to display (although it might default to
gedit--I'm not sure). Since changes to these files has
no effect on the archive, but editing is still allowed,
this exposes much functionality to the user,
especially functionality that is not usable, and so can
be confusing.

I suggest that you should use 'gless' --it is a
lighter, faster previewer to use, especially compared
to many of the editors someone might have selected.
Plus, its included in gnome-utils, which I think most
people have. Well, at least this should be a preference.
