Sometimes when I try to reconnect after disconnecting,
the sign-on hangs while my CPU just goes to > 99%. The
gaim GUI becomes mostly unresponsive. Eventually one
of my cancel clicks will register and things return to
normal. Obviously I still am not logged in. However
I'm fine if I have to wait, but we shouldn't be hogging
all that CPU.

I think this was fixed by Dario's flood patch. I'm marking
to pending while I test some more.
