This is a big improvement over 0.6.2.
The developement is continued. :)
This release works well with either stable or unstable FVWM versions (2.4.8+ or 2.5.x).
Includes a number of fixes and improvements.
We are opening an unstable 0.7.x branch to work on new FVWM features.
This release is based on the stable fvwm-2.4.8 version. But should work fine with 2.5.1+ as well.
You should install fvwm-themes-base package, it contains the framework and 8 themes, optionally fvwm-themes-extra with 10 more themes may be installed too, see README.
This release is based on the stable fvwm-2.4.0 version.
You should install fvwm-themes-base package, it contains the framework and 8 themes, optionally fvwm-themes-extra with 8 more themes may be installed too, see README.
Among new features: added 4 new themes; improvements in existing themes; added a new window button selector (to choose button face and order); the component list is rearranged; added font support for several euro-asian charsets; components and variants not supported by the user's system are hidden now.
We are pleased to announce FVWM Themes version 0.4.0, the first official beta release.
New features in fvwm-themes 0.4.0 as compared to fvwm-themes 0.2.6 include autoconf'inguring, several new themes, improvements in all 12 themes, separation of user and site themes, complete rewrite of the theme engine, plenty of documentation, partial internationalization (suported french and russian), sessions, variants, options, locks, drops and many more new things.
In the 0.3 series we will add a full autoconf support, a working component dependancy system and more.
If you want to evaluate this package and don't need the experimental features, please stick with the 0.2.6 version, which is known to work out of the box with fvwm developement versions.
This is the first public release of the project. It requires the latest fvwm developement version, (see http://fvwm.org/\). There are 8 themes included.
Please contact fvwm-themes-devel mailing list if you have unusual problems with this release.
