FreeBurn Site Launched

The FreeBurn website has officially launched! You can find all the information you would ever want to know about FreeBurn, CD creation, and more. Please take some time to explore the website, and let me know if you have any feedback on the site, good or bad. Also, the first alpha release of FreeBurn was released a few weeks ago. Go to the download page to get it.

Thanks to a little PHP scripting, a theme engine has also been built into the FreeBurn website. At the moment, there is only one other theme available other than this theme. The "stripped" theme is a very stripped-down version of the website, with most of the fancy formatting removed. You can try it on a PDA or even in your own browser if you'd like. In the future, more themes will be available, and all you'll have to do is add "?theme=[theme name]" to the web page URL.

FreeBurn is a front-end for disc writing programs such as cdrecord, cdrdao, etc. This front-end, however, has platform independance in mind. FreeBurn is initially being developed on the Windows platform, but through the use of the cross-platform FOX GUI toolkit (http://www.fox-toolkit.org) and cross-platform disc burning utilities, FreeBurn will eventually be available on a number of different platforms.
