#7 issue with some accentuated character input

Under linux there is a issue with accentuated character input. Composing accentuated characters.

eg: Typing the modifier key + ` and then the e key only inserts the e and not the composed è character. Under Windows, this works fine.

Displaying the character or Pasting the character from the clipboard works okay.
