We are happy to announce the release of Eclipse 4diac 3.1, including
updates to both 4diac IDE and 4diac FORTE.

This release introduces improvements to the development experience in
4diac IDE as well as architectural and performance enhancements in
4diac FORTE.

Highlights include:

• Improved Struct Member Access support in 4diac IDE
• Correct editor synchronization in split editor or clone editor mode
• Folder move and rename refactoring with automatic update of type references
• User interface improvements including better HiDPI support and dark mode refinements
• Modularization of the IEC 61131-3 function library in 4diac FORTE

We have officially reached the Feature Freeze for the upcoming Eclipse 4diac 3.1 release!

This milestone marks the end of new feature development for this cycle. We are now focusing entirely on bug fixes, documentation, and stabilization.

Key Highlights of 3.1:

In our work towards the Eclipe 4diac 3.0 release with many major changes and major improvements we noticed that for implementing 4diac FORTE more correct and saver an upgrade to C++ 20 would be beneficial.
