The CD hangs on boot at the following point:
ACPI: bus type pci registred
PCI: Using MMCONFIG at f4000000 - f7ffffff
ACPI: Interpreter enabled
ACPI: (supports S0 S5)
ACPI: Using IOAPIC for interrupt routing
ACPI: PCI Root Bridge [PCI0] (0000:00)

It's a E6750 processor with corresponding hardware.
Intel® Q35 Express chipset.
SATA optical media.
