#136 '?buffer=5' does not work?????

As mentioned in section 2.7 Tips of ffserver-doc.html file,
"The good news is that this can be cured by adding a '?buffer=5' to
the end of the URL". But good news does not work. I tried

ffmpeg http://localhost:8090/feed1.ffm?buffer=5

then I got error message

ffmpeg: No match

Any idea please what is the error?
