#2 Handling mails talking about XML

I posted to LDP-discuss an article citing XML tags.

The HTML source of the page does contain the tag -
in verbatim. But since Netscape ommits non-existing
tags, a casual browser of the message sees only a
blank.

I don't know what part of the software is the
right place for it. But I think a automatic conversion
of '<' and '>' to '<' and '>' is really missing.
