My virus scanner found a virus infection in eXe preferences folder (~/.exe) after I had installed eXe on my Mac. The infected file seem to comes from the application downloaded here and is "exe.app/Contents/Resources/exe/linux-profile/Cache/1AFB9CCFd01".

I think you can delete all of the files in that Cache subdirectory if you like and eXe will still run.
