EXE Next Gen makes it point and click easy to generate interactive eLearning content that can run in any web browser and even on basic feature phones (via J2ME). It is built on the original EXELearning by Core Education and extended by Toughra Technologies and Paiwastoon

  • The US State Department US Embassy Kabul whose public diplomacy grant got Ustad Mobile up and running helping particularly Afghan women to learn literacy

  • Matthew Kam (American Institutes for Research) who did pioneering research on mobile learning in resource-poor environments, which he started in 2004 at the University of California at Berkeley, and subsequently, Carnegie Mellon University.

  • The Directorate of Literacy, Afghanistan Ministry of Education - who provided the curriculum and guidance for Literacy and it's transformation into a mobile learning package.
