update: I'm running esniper-2-33-0, I tried to update esniper with auction.c and history.c that i found in recent threads but esniper would not 'make' with these files, './configure' ran ok but the 'make' command just gave a huge list of errors. So I reverted back to the original files and reinstalled but now esniper throws 'Unknown item' for everything. Help!

update: (final) I got history.c from another thread and now esniper is working.

can't remember where I got it but you can have the one I downloaded and am using now (attached)

is this fixed in the source code actually? I exchanged the history.c file but would be nice if the could be checked in as well.

The history.c attached by Tony G on Feb, 10th is not from the actual git master.
Please use git clone https://git.code.sf.net/p/esniper/git <targetdir></targetdir>
