Hi out there, First new update after version 3.0.0 is now available for download: eLogSim 3.0.1 is a minor update of 3.0.0, with the following characteristics: • md5 check of ROM image file • Progress bar coding changed for better cross-platform & flexibility • Memory leak significantly reduced (eliminated in fault simulation) • Some GUI error messages removed when running no-GUI • Minor (cosmetic type) bug fixes Otherwise, performance and behavior of version 3.0.1 is identical to 3.0.0 and all input...
Hi eLogSim versions older than 2.3.0 have been removed as they no longer are relevant to use. Cheers Lars
Hi outthere, It is with great pleasure, I announce a major update of eLogSim version 2.3.0 to version 3.0.0. eLogSim 3.0.0 has the following new features: eLogSim can be executed in headless or "no-GUI mode" in addition to the usual "Live" or interactive mode eLogSim can store entire simulation event list as files for later viewing Fault simulations can be distributed on multiple, concurrent eLogSim runs Net name sorting now faster A bit of eye candy: (Optional) splash screen & a little bling-bling...
Hi, A new release (2.3.0) of eLogSim is out. It is a minor update of 2.2.0,featuring a slightly revised fault simulation approach. In addition to the usual eLogSim binaries, a precompiled Solaris 11.4 binary has been included. A guide with the title 'eLogSim - Under the hood' has been added to the distribution package. The guide describes the basic functionality of eLogSim and gives a few examples of how to customize the source code. As always, questions and comments are welcome in the discussion...
Hi, I'm not sure anybody benefit from the git repository used so far - therefore I have deleted it. The source code is always included MyeLogSim_xyz.zip. I can bring it back if somebody miss it. Regards Lars
Hi, A new release (2.2.0) of eLogSim is out. It is a minor update featuring an additional waveform display mode (WfDispMode = 8) allowing you to page-wise printout of waveforms while displaying them. A few other modifications and a bug fix included as well. See readme.rtf. Have fun!
Hi, eLogSim version 2.1.0 is now released. The 2.1.0 is a minor update of 2.0.0 - see readme.rtf. As always, comments and/or suggestions are very welcome. Use the discussion forum or issue a ticket. Have fun! BR Lars
Hi, A special eLogSim version 2.0.0 is out. Now, that we are exactly at the 1-year birthday of eLogSim, I'm happy to submit the entire source code for eLogSim (plus the source for the spice netlist tool ePrepare) on sourceforge. The source code is protected by a GNU GPLv3 license, so it means you are free to use the source code to whatever but observering the GPLv3 conditions (see manual, section 'License') and the underlying Lazarus LCL licenses (mostly LGPL). So, eLogSim (and ePrepare) are now...
Hi out there, The main new feature of version 1.5.0 is the ability to display waveforms during simulation. A new parameter 'WfDispMode' with values in the range 0..7 is used to set waveform display mode in the configuration file. Some of the modes pauses simulation allowing the user to examine waveforms before resuming simulation. The default (fastest simulating & original) waveform display mode is WfDispMode = 0 which results in display of waveforms only after simulation has completed i.e. the way...
Hi all, First of all, happy New Year to all readers! A new eLogSim version (1.4.0) has now been uploaded. 1.4.0's main feature is a significant simulation speed improvement for low activity circuits, compared to version 1.3.x. So,circuits which have major inactive parts during simulation, simulates much faster. As examples, simulation speed has improved around 5x in the provided example Test21 and around 1.6x in example Test23. The improvement is facilitated by a new mechanism preventing inactive...

Hi all, A new release of eLogSim is out - version 1.2.0! Version 1.2.0 is an update of 1.1.0 and includes among others a facility to store and/or predefine waveform selection in the configuration file. Furthermore two's complement bus value calculation is now possible by setting 2sComplement = true in the configuration file. Two's complement notation has been demonstrated in the example Test21_32x32ArrayMultiplier. which by the way has been derived from a synthesis of a verilog behavioral description...

Hi Today a new release (1.0.0) of eLogSim has been uploaded. It is a major update of 0.9.1 with more primitives (now including ROM,SRAM, 3-state buffer, multiplexers) and support for a fourth state (Hi impedance Z) usable for shared bus systems etc. More examples have been added (Test9, Test17, Test18) mainly to demonstrate ROM, SRAM and BUFTS use. A big number of bugs have been fixed though some undoubtly remain uncovered - please help me out providing feedback on what you may find of bugs, inconveniences,...
Hi I've uploaded a minor update 0.9.1 today 2018-07-20 - check the (also updated) readme.txt ! Kind regards Lars
