The ddfthing-lump has:

Should that frame be "K" with 6 tics and with "remove" following?

With the current "A:-1" the deadlostsouls in Doom E2 appear like non-solid, non-moving, non-shootable, nearly invisible normal lostsouls.

    I don't think this would cause any problems.
    Nevertheless I have fixed the DDF (as you said,
    SKUL:K:6 with #REMOVE).
