Go into start net game under options and then press escape to go back out of the menu: EDGE locks to the extent where CTRL+ALT+DEL is needed to break the hold EDGE has on the display. EDGE.LOG shows nothing unusual.

The "host/join net game" options are now disabled (they are only non-working prototypes), so this won't be a problem for the 1.29RC#5 release.
I will keep this bug open since it will need to be tackled when I work on networking support.
