#7 xml source document is overwritten when xml output is genera

It seem that my source xml keeps getting overwritten
with zero content or in some cases the transformed
content if I don't specify a output filename.

Usually editors create a tmp file in this case. I see
whats happening but overwriting the source file with
the output doesn't seem right.
