The home page for Eclipse Powered has been relaunched using Movable Type. All the templates are in CVS. See http://www.eclipsepowered.org .
By popular demand I've created a new list (eclipsepowered-discussion@lists.sourceforge.net) and disabled the forums and announce list and trackers on SourceForge. Everybody who was on the announce list was moved over to the discussion list.
Anyone can post on the discussion list so this would be a good way to make any comments that you want others to see. I hope you'll find this easier to use than the old system.... read more
Well, now I know more than I really wanted to about domain registration, registration stealthing, dns, and hosting. Why? Because I just went through the process to bring up the project's new home page:
It's powered by Eclipse too. Hope you like it.

Rather than posting a news item here each time a new chapter is available I'll be sending notices to the announce list.
To subscribe/unsubscribe to the announce list go to:
http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/eclipsepowered-announce
Content can be viewed by synchronizing to repository in Eclipse or through the web interface at:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/eclipsepowered/Book/
I've pushed two new chapters to CVS:
CaseStudies/LabelDecorator/LabelDecorator.rtf
Reference/SDKExtensionPoints/SDKExtensionPoints.rtf
These can be viewed by synchronizing to repository in Eclipse or through the web interface at:

Welcome to the Eclipse Powered project on SourceForge. "Eclipse Powered" is the name of an upcoming book about developing applications based on the Eclipse Platform. The "source" for the book, including chapter drafts and examples, will be developed right here on SourceForge (using CVS and Eclipse itself to manage the project).
To get things started I've uploaded the table of contents into CVS and will answer any questions (well, *almost* any) over in the forums area. As far as I know this is the first book ever written using SourceForge or Eclipse, so if you have any suggestions on how to make things go more smoothly, please don't hesitate to make them. Enjoy!
