Due to popular demand, the ResourceBundle Editor project has been migrated it to GitHub: https://github.com/essiembre/eclipse-rbe

There you will find release 1.0.0, which was updated to work just fine with Eclipse 4.x (tested with both Kepler and Luna). At last, you will also find an update site!

I hope you will keep enjoying this plugin. I built this more than 10 years ago(!) as a pet project to ease my own pain at translating software. A new version of the code had been donated to the Eclipse's own Babel project years ago, but still people keep coming back to this one. The Eclipse ResourceBundle Editor has been contributed to the Eclipse Babel project (http://www.eclipse.org/babel/)! Its author (Pascal Essiembre) is now part of the committers for the Babel project. The plugin development focus is now on the Eclipse Babel version. All the plugin features should eventually be ported over and more. Thanks to SourceForge and all of you who helped making the Eclipse ResourceBundle Editor a success.

Alexander Bieber and Tobias Langner recently joined the ResourceBundle Editor project. Their contribution will help to better address issues and requests and hopefully produce more frequent releases. Thank you both!

This release contains a few bug fixes and a few new features such as using the Eclipse "Outline" view to navigate keys and the option whether to persist keys with no values. Chinese plugin translation is now available also.

This release is mainly a maintenance one to fix an important performance issue introduced in 0.7.0 when dealing with large files.

One new feature can be found: selecting a properties file search match in a file search result with highlight the corresponding text in the right properties file.

This release adds a wizard for creating new resource bundles, supports adding new locales to existing bundle, supports the Eclipse "nl" structure for I18N of plugins, adds properties file formating options and other feaures. The plugin user interface now supports Spanish. The release also includes a few bug fixes and is available for both Eclipse 2.x and 3.x users.

Maintenance release. Fixes incorrect handling of line feeds and carriage returns, introduced in version 0.5.3.

Vladimir Dolzhenko from the Eclipse Property File Editor plugin project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/epfe) has joined the Eclipse ResourceBundle Editor project. One can expect features from the Property File Editor plugin (e.g. table view of property files) to eventually be incorporated into the ResourceBundle Editor.

Maintenance release. Added support for Eclipse 3.1M4+ Properties Files editor. Also fixed the editor loading more properties files than it should in some instances.

Eclipse 2.x/WSAD users can now enjoy this plugin as well. A new package as been added exclusively for Eclipse version 2.x. Even if an attempt will be made to support both packages equally (in quality and features), Eclipse 3.x remains the primary development focus and may get better support.

Main new feature: conversion of extended characters to/from unicode values (\uXXXX).

Added features: display country flags when appropriate, formating options like how to group keys, and line wrapping options.
