000a. Prerequisites: Mikrotik RouterOS Configuration

RouterOS Version

Version 6 of Mikrotik RouterOS with User manager and API services enabled is required for operating Easy HotSpot

Kindly ensure

Hotspot is configured and user manager package is installed.

API Services are enabled, To enable it open WinBox, Go to IP / Services and ensure API service is enabled in it.

Default User Profiles in the router

If required you can create User profiles in the Router using the User manager of the RouterOS

• Open your user manager web interface: http://YOURROUTER/userman

• Create user profiles with your specification.

User Profiles can be created using the Interface of Easy HotSpot very easily.
