As the NSF and the CIA decide to analyse IRC channels, I personally don't use longer IRC. The CIA can read analyse their own channels when they want do it ;-) ########### A university in New York is going to be working on a program to analyse IRC chat which is being funded by the CIA channeled through the National Science Foundation. This document outlines the project including the sum of money involved which is $157673 USD. "The aim of this proposal is to develop new techniques for information gathering, analysis and modeling of chatroom communications", the document explains. What the document did not lined out was that it was the CIA who was behind the funding. ########### Am Dienstag, den 21.12.2004, 18:10 +0100 schrieb fr...@ex...: > I'd like to try an experience since today. > > SLIC is to new to be known by most user than IRC > and i'm afraid there is a timeout when no activity. > > So i started the chan #eaccelerator on freenode, > and i will always keep a connection on it, with 'screen' > command. > > Just to see if user can speak eatch other for simple > problems (compilation, beginer help, ...). > > > Regards, franck > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide > Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users. > Discover which products truly live up to the hype. I'd like to try an experience since today. SLIC is to new to be known by most user than IRC and i'm afraid there is a timeout when no activity. So i started the chan #eaccelerator on freenode, and i will always keep a connection on it, with 'screen' command. Just to see if user can speak eatch other for simple problems (compilation, beginer help, ...). Regards, franck |

Our server is to slow at the moment (old hardware) but we will have next year a new OpenBSD server. Then it will be no problem. You can host it when you want. So we have eaccelerator.net e-accelerator.org e-accelerator.net Personally, i prefer eaccelerator.net And we could share domain name the cost : - one of us buy it - everyone one who want to share the cost make a donation to the buyer. I'm ready to be the buyer or make a donation. http://www.eaccelerator.org/ http://www.eaccelerator.com/ are poor website webspam oriented (i hate that) Franck |

Hosting website service from sourceforge is really poor. I'm tired about 'mysql is down' message or can't write session data ... Should be a good thing to be hosted somewhere else ... Is there somebody (reiner, frank, elveraldo, segv74) who got a dedicated server ? I always have my own dedicated server since 6 years and i can host the website, this is just a purposal, my job of every day is to take care about security and php development. You can ask me my dedicated server configuration in a private email. Franck |

I've just send a mail to Hoesh, to explain what's happening on eaccelerator and if he want to say something about that. Should be great if he want to share knowledge, ideas and/or more. I'll give feedback about that. Regards, franck |

Hi Franck, Its me. Everaldo! Today I working to apply Segv74 patchs, all patchs are applyed but I need to test, this work will be finished in some moments. (Sorry by my bad english!) I think that a creation of another fork is not the best way. :) On this weekend I work on roadmap, please wait. If you need to contact me, my MSN is eve...@ho... or ICQ 277853641. In fact, this story of Roadmap, it's for segv74. Segv74 is somebody who is patching turckmmcache-2.4.7-cvs, and he made a great job. Problem is first release of eaccelerator-0.9.0 is turckmmcache-2.4.7-cvs without patches and he has been a little bit disapointed. Me too when I see eaccelerator README file speaking about Turckmmcache (i've correct it, but only on the CVS). He is 'tired to wait' (not angry) and ask me if i've got news about code of eaccelerator or a something like a roadmap. Solution for him are theses : - join eaccelerator, because he will know your are not just people who has make a fork just 'to make a fork' without idea behind the head - make another fork, hoping to do that with hoesh (and me, why not, for website & paper contributions only) I'd like Segv74 join eaccelerator, if Everaldo Canuto is agree, please take a look at Segv74 patches http://cvs.turckmmcache.exeprod.com/cvs.php I should be great to concentrate developers interested to work on turckmmcache next generation fork into eAccelerator. It should be great to have segv74 code/ideas contributions, hoesh ideas. We don't speak about Alan project for moment, which is somebody who will come back in junary to see if he put his dev team on eaccelerator or if he create a new fork. What do you think about all that ? What Everaldo think about all that ? Best Regards, franck |

Hi all, i'm franck34, and i manage eaccelerator website for moment. Every suggestions about the website is welcome. After speaking with Reiner Jung, it's seems some of yours is making a RoadMap for eaccelerator development. I prepare a special page for that on the website (which is a wiki) http://eaccelerator.sourceforge.net/RoadMap So, to put the roadmap on this page, just register (user settings) and click edit the page. Firefox is bad for AccessKey, so you will not able to press Tab key to make nice space. Don't worry about that, just publish your document, i'll modify the look of the page after. Regards, franck |
