Hi.
I know it's a little off-topic question but perhaps someone could help me. I don't get any audio coming from speakers. I've tried patches, reinstall pulseaudio, digged into the sound mixer...and no luck.
I'm running FocalX on a Panasonic rugged i5 tablet and FocalX installed on SSD (not booting from USB)
BTW, the speakers are working correctly under w10.
any help will be appreciated
And kudos to cemaxecuter, great work !!!

Before making changes (but yes I do have a newer 24.04 in the works) what hardware was shown up under the sound management system? It should default to an internal speakers if no hdmi attached, but worth checking.

Do you have in general working sound output when you try out for example the most recent test version of Ubuntu? Currently you can find it here: https://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/

Thanks both of you for your messages. As you suggest, I'm downloading and installing the new Dragon build and will come back with the results.
Regards!

No luck...I've run Noble R1_test4 but same story. Speakers are shown in the mixer, but no audio is coming out from speakers. I'm going to test a standard ubuntu distro.
BTW, I've installed "onboard" as a virtual touch keyboard. Perhaps there is such utility included, but I found it very necessary .
I'll keep you posted about this topic.
Regards.

I’d focus on specific model, for example this post comes up. Have a look towards the end where the person seems to find a way for audio to work. Maybe the same process will work with your tough book.

Have you tried the new test build of DragonOS? It have new kernel with updated sound drivers and could work better on your tablet.
