Just received notification that the anonymous CVS (pserver and Browse CVS) has now been fixed. It appears that it affected all projects beginning with the letter 'd'.
Thanks to the dedicated team, 1.0.2 is now out with a heap of bug fixes and a slew of new features. We recommend everyone updates to this version.
Remember to pick up your language packs from the dotmods site.
We are now in feature freeze for 1.0.2 release. This will enable us to focus on bug fixing and get the release out in short order.
The 1.0.2 release is actually very exciting with loads of new features and bug fixes. There are so many goodies packed into this we could have upped the release number to 1.1, but there is still much to do. In addition there are now more translations, and heaps more effort going on in the dotmods project that will make dotProject the premier open source project manangement suite.
Our New Year's resolution this year was to get development and support rocketting ahead. We have created a new website at http://www.dotproject.net/ which has all of the features of the old site plus an expanded (and expanding) FAQ section. We are working on a new roadmap for develpment and starting to get the bug lists under control.
We hope this year will be a bumper year for dotproject and see it hit (and stay in) the top 10 projects.... read more
There are now two major patches that have been implemented on the dotproject demo site.
Please take a look at these and let us know if you think they are worthy of becoming part of the main release (we here at dP certainly think so).
The patches are:
1. Patch to speed up display of project list (patch 789837 from Pablo Roca).
2. Patch to allow copying of projects between companies, to allow for project templates (patch 828298 from Herve Heritier)
Due to a problem with the SourceForge CVS system, users have not been able to get the latest CVS releases. As such an interim bug-fix release of dotProject has been issued.
This release fixes a number of issues related to permissions, and to task view, calendar popups, department creation and others. Please see the release notes and change log for details of the fixes.
