I was talking with my users group here and we were wondering if it would be possible to enhance the error notification capability to let the system administrator know exactly which page in a report failed by possibly sending it to them per the values set in the log4j.xml file? Long story short we have the app configured to send error messages to the server administrator, but the error is very non-descript (mainly because we don’t want to use the verbose error capturing method as that is too much data and impacts system performance) and so the administrator has to spend time digging through the logs to find that needle in the haystack. So basically we are looking for a way for the burst server to narrow down the where the error occurred.
