Welcome to the DingoRPGTools wiki!

[Update Log]

DingoRPGTools is pretty easy to use, but here are some tips that may help along the way:

• If you go to File > Dice Roller a small dice roller will pop up in it's own window. This mini dice roller will always stay on top of other windows (unless they also have this feature enabled). Once opened, you can minimize the main DingoRPGTools window if you don't need it active.

• Each random generator (except the dice roller) relies on one or more text files for data. These text files contain all the possible results. I decided to use plain .txt files to make adding/editing entries easier for the end user.

• The built-in "Editor" is actually just a collection of shortcuts to open each file in your computer's default text editor (for most users this is notepad.exe). You could also simply browse to the DingoRPGTool folder and edit the text files directly.

NOTE: Because of the way the shortcuts are coded, all the included .txt files MUST be in the same folder as DingoRPGTool.exe or the program will not work!

• Included inside the downloaded zip file is a second small zip file named "original-assets.zip". This file simply contains the original, unedited text files that came with program, in case you acidently delete, overwrite, or otherwise destroy one of the text files that DingoRPGTool relies on to function. You can simply leave it zipped in the program's folder for safekeeping in case you need it in the future.

Happy Gaming!
