Dear ... uh... Everybody,
digify pre-pre-alpha version 2B has recently been released, and pre-alpha 1 is planned to be released tommorow.
0.0.0.0.2b is different than its little sister, 2A, and its baby cousin, 1, because it uses digify "2.0+" ideologies. Basically, we have changed it from a harder-to-use, all-in-one interface into a simple, quick, and easy multistep interface.
Please, if you want digify to remain alive, PLEASE download the latest version and give it a chance.... read more
I finally got around to packaging release version 0.0.0.0.2B (pre-pre-alpha 2B). Pre-Alpha 1 will be out in 3 days, with all of the necessary updates to the code.

Dear Friends of Digify,
I have recently recieved emails concerning digify's "demise." Those emails are not true!!! Digify is moving at a slower, but steady, pace. We will release 0.0.0.0.2b ASAP and the prealpha should be arriving shortly as well.

After that, we will work on

Dear People :)
We have now released pre-pre-alpha (yeah, I know) version 2a, or version 0.0.0.0.2a. It includes a lot of new features, including ACTUAL CODE! No kidding, eh? Really, it includes some of the MySQL database entries, some GUI code, some backend scripts, and (basic) security functions. You can download it from our releases page in either TAR or ZIP formats.
So, try it out, take a look at all of the errors, and enjoy! :)... read more

August First, of 2002, was a big day for the digify project. We settled (or partially settled) some of the key aspects of securing data -- this is, of course, the passing of global variables into PHP. I would rather hash and random string than do nothing with a set variable -- you know what I mean?
Anyway, continuing on, Ryan has begun the frontend coding -- and he doesn't seem to stop -- so kudos to Ryan for his great work.... read more
Today we had an interesting time trying to get a developer's chat going -- but we did, and that's what counts -- or at least partially.
JS47, COMPASITATOR, and SQINT all attended this informal internet chat. Although the transcript was unavaliable, we can say that we got a lot figured out. Security is a major area of this project, and we only touched the tip of the iceberg today. Hopefully will drench our hands in the cold water soon :)... read more
I have finally setup the TASK engine so that you know who is doing what and what you are supposed to be doing. Use it whenever possible, and if you are in doubt, ask me: zorkshin@tampabay.rr.com
The current progress (as of August 1 2002)
1. SQL Queries -- JUST STARTED
2. Front End -- IN PROGRESS
3. Access to SSA -- IN PROGRESS
4. Port to ASP -- NOT STARTED
These changes will be reflected in the SF Task Manager.... read more
We will soon be needing a couple of security developers... for the security portions of digify. If you think that you're a 7ru1y 1337 h4x0r and you want to demonstrate your m4d 5k115, 3m411 me at zorkshin@tampabay.rr.com . If you have no idea what I just said, please disregard this post... :)
Hey Everybody :)
Well, its been an interesting week... I got the project approved on Monday, only three days ago... and now we have 4 devs, a web designer, and a doc translator. All I can say is: WOW! Great job guys. Keep up the good work.
We have also recently added some documents to the Doc manager and a release, which is avaliable in ZIP or TAR format -- that way we keep both sides of the fence happy.... read more
Although this is only a library of comments that outline where future code will be placed, digify v0.0.0.0.1 provides insight into where digify is heading and how it will get there.
Of course, it is not even usable, so only developers would find interest with this file. Become a developer by emailing me at zorkshin@tampabay.rr.com
The new DIGIFY release date will be August 20 due to tight schedules. Thanks for bearing with us!
The currently planned release date of digify is Aug. 15 2002. The version will be -- most likely -- a pain in the neck. Obviously, it is not ready for a production environment and I wouldn't even begin testing it yet unless you want to contribute (or waste a lot of time :)
