DictExpress - Dictionary Protocol Server / News: Recent posts

This new version contains various major modifications. The code was modularized, an installation script, a man page, a sample backend distribution were added to the package.

The documentation is no longer available on-line, since it will be included in the dictexpress package.

This new release contains major improvements to the plugin system and other fixes. Read the changelog for a full list.

A copy of the HTML documentation is included in the package.

This is still an alpha release as some parts of the server and the plugin system need more work.

The server's documentation has been uploaded to the SourceForge page. All the info you will need in order to add dictionary backends is there.

I announce the first public version of DictExpress. The server acts as a proper UNIX server. Note that this alpha software and should in no way be used in a production environment.
