Hi all,

I have an Asus with Windows 8.1 64-bit, and I'm running Desmume v.0.9.11. When I'm in windowed mode, the game looks fine, but when I put it in fullscreen mode, the background isn't black. Instead, there's sort of a duplicate image of the game, but it's frozen and looks glitched. However, on my friend's computer the background is black when in fullscreen (my friend is running v.0.9.9x86). I have attached a screenshot of what happens.

Is this just a problem with my computer, and is there any way to fix that? Are there any others who are also experiencing this?

Thanks.

no, youre using desmume 0.9.11 svn5106.

change the display method option. it's a problem with your video driver and OS.

No, after minimize it returns to normal. That only happens when I full screen or maximize.

I have not used pad to integer. I've been playing on default settings. I changed my display method to OpenGL and when I maximize(not full screen) the edges are black now. However, when I did full screen I couldn't get back to windowed. Pressing alt+enter minimizes the display but everything else is still black.

Maximize is good enough for me right now though. But like zeromus said, it's probably my video driver. My friend has a newer computer with the latest driver, so maybe that's why.

      Thanks all!

Hello, I've got the same problem as OP but if I switch the renderer to OpenGL the emulator freeze then crash and it can't be opened again as it immediatly freeze and crash so I need to go into the .ini file and switch display method=3 to display method=1 to fix the issue.

We don't make x432R. You are using a hacked version of the emulator.

Also having this issue and as someone else said, switching to OpenGL freezes the emulator entirely. Is there anything I can do on my end? I reinstalled a version I had from one computer to a newer one, But this issue didn't happen before.

use the newest version of desmume (you probably aren't). upgrade or downgrade your GPU drivers.
