#3 Samples Download Failed

I have downloaded the latest release, DeKstasy 1.3.6,
and during the first program start it asks me for
downloading the sample files. The first time I decided
loading them later, because the dialog stated there is
an option in the help menu. But I could not find it then.

So, after trashing all files and directories the app
created and restarting DeKstasy I chose "Download" this
time, but nothing happened. I opened the CVS tree in my
browser and found the file welcome.c
(http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/dekstasy/dekstasy/Source/welcome.c?rev=1.1.1.1&view=auto)
that contains the code for downloading the samples. I
figured out the correct (?) download URL
http://www.sonophile.com/cgi-bin/dekstasy/dlSamps?1.3.6
and tried downloading the samples manually using curl,
but got only a HTTP 500.
