The team plans to release the next version of DBLX around August 1, 2014.

We had planned a 2.1 release, but there were not enough major bugs to justify a release, so we are moving to v.2.2.

Here are the features and fixes in DBLX 2.2:
- Transactions! DBLX will support transactions for INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and ALTER operations.
- Database replication will be officially released. The previous 'unsupported' replication feature will be complete and officially working on and across all supported platforms.
- Reduction in processor utilization.
- Support for multiple sql statements. You will be able to execute one query with multiple statements for change operations such as INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and ALTER.
- Windows installer. Since Windows gets more and more superfluous security obscurity features, we are releasing an installer to make DBLX setup faster and simpler.
- Full feature support for DBLXe Embedded. As of the 2.2 release all DBLX functionality will work identical in all versions, including DBLXe. This means that features like Transactions, data replication, and encrypted data will work the same on any platform you want to run DBLX on!
- Bug fixes: There will be some bug fixes.
- More documentation! We are expanding the documentation to add more details and give usage examples.

As usual, there should be a few other features and surprises in the next release.
