After long time... yes, we are still here... new release candidate is now available. It is primary intended for testing new install system (Windows platform). It also contains some new features and bugfixes.

Please try it and report bugs.

New screenshots showing also a small battle have been added.

The homepage has been updated a bit :-).

New mailing list for general discussion about Dark Oberon has just been created. We will also post there information about new releases.

We have released a new version of Dark Oberon. We have removed all sound effects from the game because of licencing problems. The background music is still there. Also README file for Unix version was added, because people had problems to compile it under Unix-like OSes.

Sound effects will be added in next release which will be soon (planned for 2005-07-10).

First version 1.0 (stable) of our strategic game Dark Oberon has been released. It's a real time strategy similar to Warcraft running on FreeBSD, Linux and Windows. Wonderful graphics of real models made from plasticine! Screenshots and homepage should be updated soon.
