I have downloaded 0.3.0 (I think), although this is via the latest instructions on the DFTD webpage. I am on Linux (Ubuntu), and have installed svn and Ubuntu info, as instructed on the web links..
The program loads beautifully with 'I'm In the Mood for Love' and other period tracks. It also starts after loading and we get the gauges, which change as the controls are engaged. The map seems to work, as do Funcs 6,7,8 and 9. However, the program crashes when we try pressing F1, F2, F3 or F4. There are also some bug notifications.
Please advise me as to how to proceed with what should be a wonderful version of an old favourite game of mine.
Thank you in advance.
Sounds like all the 2d screens are OK and the issue is when the 3d views are loaded, can you post a little more information about your hardware?
Thanks for your interest in helping me. I agree with your inferences here.
The hardware I am using is a Siemens Fujitsu default hardware system with 1GB of RAM and 140 GB disc space. I am using Linux, whilst using the Linux version of Danger Deep. I do not think that my system should have any issues with running the program as it is capable of running every other program I have tried set up for Ubuntu.
Thank you for your help,
John.
