-major bug found and fixed: Out of range on one parameter crashes the main voice parameter view of the GUI and plugin. One of parameters, "LevelScaleBreakPoint", in the main voice view uses labels, A-1...C_8, contained in an array. Tested plugin by loading various DX7 sysex files revealed out of range values are quite common. And if the particular out of range value happened to be "LevelScaleBreakPoint" the paramdisplay causes an array out of bounds error crashing the plugin.... read more

Functionality related:

-bug#1 fixed: Processing loop found and fixed. Possible bug in original DSSI version processing loop found and fixed. Events which occur in last 64 samples of sampleFrames were not processed caused by "if else" statement.

-bug#2 fixed: Reducing sample rates above 44100Hz, for example 96000Hz to 48000Hz, made reverb crash the plugin. The cause was reverb's allpass and comb bufidx which should have been set to zero when buffer size changed.... read more

Fixed a few bugs and added a few things:

-bug#1 fixed: GUI 32 Algo Bitmap always opens at algo 1. (Did anyone notice that?)

-bug#2 fixed: Minor bug in event loop. Hopefully, it will work in hosts that it did not work in previously. But it still needs improvement.

-bug#3 fixed: Mono playmodes did not play correctly.

Hexter VSTi 1.0.0.0 initial release. Hexter VSTi uses the audio engine of Sean Bolton's Hexter LADSPA/DSSI synth, which is modeled after the classic 6 operator "FM" based DX7 hardware synth. VSTGUI interface has patch editor. It can load and save standard 32 or 1 patch DX7 files.

CuteVST TAP Dynamics 1.2 VST plugin functions as a compressor, expander, limiter, and noise gate. Ported from LADSPA tap-plugins package.

CuteVST TAP Echo 1.6.0.0, a port of the LADSPA tap-plugin to VST, released.

Released CuteVST TAP Chorus 1.3.0.0 and TAP Reverb 1.1.3.1 bug fix. If you downloaded Reverb 1.1.3.0, you should download update. Others will be released as they are finished. These are ports to VST of the LADSPA TAP-plugins.
