the module for programming the bootrom on 3com nic 3c905c works.
the hardware detection of ide-flasher works. you don't need configure an io address. currently only available on cvs.
my mistake. i have tested it only on my system.
you can't compile version 1.4a on newer versions of kernel 2.4. but here is 1.4b...
the hardware from www.loet.de was successfully tested with AM29F040B. hopefully it will be released by the end of the year.
after talking with andreas i will start splitting the source.
the idea is taking the algorithm for programming at one side, the part for communication with the hardware at the other side.
after separating the source for the c't-flasher hardware, we will add the source for ide-flasher.
for information about it, please look at
www.loet.de
i have prepared the source for 2.4 and tested under redhat 7.?
it works...
I have added and tested the support for AMD AM28Fxxx. Now the project supports
AMD AM29Fxxx (only AM29F040B tested)
AMD AM28Fxxx (only AM28F256 tested)
ATMEL AM29Cxxx (only AM29C040A tested)
