Introduction

CrystalDB Tool is used by developers, DBAs and analyst for managing, administering and developing databases. The utility supports the two common database management system, namely MS SQL Server and Oracle. It provides an editor that offers code completion and syntax highlighting for standard SQL. It features a connection browser and a comprehensive set of database administration tools. CrystalDB Tool is tested with the two major databases; namely Microsoft SQL Server and ORACLE.

CrystalDB Tool supports Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.

Graphical User Interface

CrystalDB Tool has a tab-based user interface that gives you a lot of control over the layout and how to work with your database objects and editors. There are also options to hide certain areas of the user interface to better conform to individual preference and screen real estate use.

First Time Screen after Connect
This is the screen which is shown after successfully selecting a database connection. The left tab is the connection browser of the database connection selected.

Top Level tabs side-by-side
The tabs can be docked side by side, left, right, centre, top and bottom. The tab can be set to float rather than dock. A floating tab can be docked by drag and drop or by double clicking on the tab title bar.
