In Server (v1.75.0-1463-gfaf42f5d5) and GTK2 client (Crossfire v1.75.0-1316-ge19bd3e61) built from top of the Master branch in April 2025, whereas "help script" returns:
Syntax: script <path>
the "script" command does not appear in the list of commands output by "help commands".
I guess at issue is that someone very familiar with "help commands" can easily forget that "commands" exist that are not listed by "help commands" (which is a bit confusing, albeit understandable to some extend, I guess).
The output of "help" gives:
Client commands:
clearinfo disconnect help magicmap mapedit mapscale take
Configuration commands:
bind cwindow foodbeep savedefaults savewinpos show unbind
Scripting commands:
script scriptkill scriptkillall scripts scripttell
Debugging commands:
cmd inv
so there is likely a fundamental difference between the commands. Perhaps help commands could say something to the effect of "See Also: help" for a list of client-specific commands.
