Hi,

There are some simple basic steps for hobbyists, especially beginners need;

Select Machine Type: 3018 (very popular)
Select Tool Bit Type: Have a choice of the 1/8" bit sets in the common marketplaces.

then;
Open .DXF
Highlight groves for simple milling
Select grove depth
Save the .NC file or send it to the machine.

Next level moving up to .STL 3D files;
Select Machine Type: 3018 (very popular)
Select Tool Bit Type: Have a choice of the 1/8" bit sets in the common marketplaces.

Open .STL
Do whatever is needed to convert to a .NC file.
Save the .NC file or send it to the machine.

Next level moving up to .STL 3D files;
Select Machine Type: 3018 (very popular)
Select Tool Bit Type: Have a choice of the 1/8" bit sets in the common marketplaces.

Open .STL
Do whatever is needed to convert to a .NC file.
Select 2nd, 3rd etc. Tool Bit Types
Save the .NC file or send it to the machine.

Just my 2cents to help make making easier and more affordable for people like myself and other beginners just making hobby parts for themselves.

Being an old retired senior citizen, I'd love to do αlpha/ßeta testing of the program. I have plenty of time to play while I'm still here on earth.
