Add ability to re-create a custom rule with the help of the visual helper.
Use case: The user made a mistake or the website changed the cookie consent banner. The user is not able (or doesn't want to) edit the json definition manually.
I agree this is useful. I will update future releases to make this UI flow better.
Until this has been implemented, here is a workaround:
Disable cookie cutter for the site in question through the browser popup
Visit the site normally
Through the browser popup, configure this site manually
Re-Enable cookie cutter for the site
Your new rule should be saved and applied on subsequent loads of the site.
We will make code changes in the future to reduce the number of steps/clicks required for this, and to provide the ability to submit updated rules so we can keep the default ruleset up to date better.

As of version 1.4.0 (released yesterday for firefox and today for chrome) there is now the ability to re-define a rule when an existing rule doesn't work, without needing to first whitelist the site. I believe this addresses the described use case.
If you find any bugs with this feature or feel that this solution is incomplete, please let me know.
I will close this ticket next week if I have not heard anything more about it before then.
