i installed the deb and was able to enable the extension with no problems,
when i select 'show clutterview browser' it shows my albums but the clutterview browser is unresponsive. banshee still works, i can play songs with no problem. if i hide the clutterview and then re-show it, it doesn't reappear - just an unresponsive area is reserved.
i'm running ubuntu 10.10 & banshee 1.8
i have captured the output from it, there's no errors during normal running but when i close banshee the errors from '(Banshee:3941): Clutter-CRITICAL ' onwards are displayed.

Can you give me some system specs?
- video card?
- 32bit or 64bit?
- clutter version installed?
- libmonocairo is installed?
and anything else you could suspect to be out of the ordinary,
I can't reproduce the error here, that's why
cheers
-1.66Ghz Centrino Duo
-4Gb RAM
-Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
-32-bit
-libclutter-1.0-0 installed version 1.2.12-0ubuntu13
-libmono-cairo2.0-cil installed version 2.6.7-3ubuntu1
i dont think there's anything out of the ordinary. i'm running with compiz effects and i have cairo-dock running
i have just run it again with --sync option, this time banshee crashes before the main window is opened, but there is maybe an error in here that might help...
regards
paul
