This program would be really helpful for me, but the latest verion 2.5 does not work on my computer. When I start it, a white window opens and closes immediately.
Hello ! Thanks for the feedback. Are you using any mods ? For now some mods are needed for civreplay to work (Better Balanced Game at least). In any case if you send me an example of a save I will try to make it work in a future version if I manage.

Well, that's some essential information you should add on your summary page. I added the BBG 5.1 and then civ vi replay started properly. Then I tried to open a save, but nothing happened when i chose a save file and clicked on open. when I tried to open a folder the program closed. Now every time I start your program I only get a white window. The same with your newest version 2.6.
I did not try a save game that was created with BBG. Maybe I should do that? But if I can only use the replayer with save games with BBG it is useless anyway for me.
What I don't understand you had 70 downloads that week. which means there are many people out there who have the replayer. Yet I'm the first person ever writing a ticket. I can't be the only one with that problem, or am I? Or maybe no one cares enough?
I know you are only one person making that program in your free time without earning anything with it. So I have no right to ask for anything. But I really would like to use it.

You are completly right I should add it to the summary page... CivReplay is mostly intented for multiplayer and the competitive scene of civilization (if you are not aware you can find information on CPL or CivFR) and I am communicating mostly inside this community (and they are probably my only downloads).
I am a bit curious what is your use case / goal using civreplay ? I will try to make it work without bbg in the next version. If you can provide me a save file it will be a lot easier for me (just to be sure everything work as intended)

So no e-mail? ok. My goal with civreplay is the same as yours. I want to learn from other people playing civ after the match is over. The games I'm playing are long term asynchronous matches on PYDT (www.playyourdamnturn.com) Since the matches are still in the early stages and will take at least months to finish I'm in no rush with the civreplayer anyway. And because the matches are still running I'm not comfortable with sending you save games from the matches. Or we could start our own test match on PYDT so you have savegames to work with. Or we talk again when a match is finished.
