CIPAT 2.00 released

A new version of CIPAT has been released and is available for download.

Still a platform independent perl based tool but it has many new features like support for Cisco devices as well as hosts which are running the IPCAD daemon.

CIPAT is now also based on the new module Cisco::Accounting, available on CPAN.

Multiple output formats are now supported : HTML, CSV and XML.

A limitation on number of polls or time limit can be set to automatically stop CIPAT and generate reports.... read more

NetProvisioning moves to its own project

As of now there is a separate project created for NetProvisioning on sourceforge : http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/netprovisioning

NetProvsioning 2.00 released

NetProvisioning version 2.00 is now available for download.

Major code changes, better output, stable multithreading, object oriented, ease profile creation, etc.

Updated Cipat-Perl available via CVS

The updated Cipat-Perl version is now available via CVS. Packages will be release soon.
Bugfixes :
-script stops when enable login fails.
- error is generated when not enough data is gathered
- several small issues and error checking improvements.
New features :
- possibility to do clear ip accounting before gathering data
- possibility to gather separate output files for each ip accounting poll as well as one consolidated output file.

Cipat-Perl v1.0 Released

Finally released v1.0 !!! This is still a draft release because only minimum functionality is implemented. It's tested on Windows platform under ActiveState Perl 5.6 and 5.8 but should also work on Unix (except for OLE). Integration with Excel 2000 is also tested.

Draft version coming soon !

Unfortunately I haven't had a lot of time lately to get a first version online so I have decided to just post a very early draft version. You may expect this draft version of the CIPAT-PERL script in the next few days. This will allow you to gather ip accounting data from remote routers using telnet. Output is already possible in text format or in Excel format. There will be some output examples posted with it. Decent error handling and logging will not be available yet.
